Το σπήλαιο των Βρασνών "Δρακότρυπα": είναι ένα μικρό σε μέγεθος σπήλαιο, που αποτελείται από τρεις θαλάμους, οι οποίοι επικοινωνούν μεταξύ τους. Εδώ εντοπίζονται και αποικίες τριών ειδών νυχτερίδων, που απειλούνται με εξαφάνιση. Η περιοχή προστατεύεται από διεθνείς συμβάσεις για το περιβάλλον.

Ο παραδοσιακός οικισμός των Βρασνών είναι ο τόπος όπου υπάρχουν αρχαιολογικά ευρήματα και μαρτυρούν πως υπήρχε ζωή από την νεολιθική εποχή, την εποχή του χαλκού και του σιδήρου. Ο αρχαϊκός αυτός οικισμός ονομαζόταν Βορμίσκος ή Βρομίσκος. Εντυπωσιακός είναι ο οχυρωματικός πύργος της Παλαιολόγειας εποχής ο οποίος σώζεται σε όλο του το ύφος. Οι κάτοικοι των Βρασνών είναι γηγενείς και διατηρούν τα ήθη και έθιμα από τις αρχαίες ελληνικές φυλές. Οι περισσότεροι κάτοικοι των Βρασνών μετά το 1960 άρχισαν να εγκαθίστανται και στην παράλια περιοχή με αποτέλεσμα τη δημιουργία του νέου οικισμού των Ν. Βρασνών. Στις πλαγιές των Κερδυλλίων βρίσκεται το μοναστήρι του Αγίου Γεωργίου το οποίο χρονολογείται από το 1297 μ.Χ.
